The surroundings

The ski resort is known as ‘Skiliftkarussell Winterberg’. The Skiliftkarussell consists of 27.5 kilometers of slopes, divided over 7 different mountains. There are a total of 55 ski lifts (including 15 chair lifts) and 260 snow cannons. These snow cannons provide snow safety every half of December to mid-March! Due to the application of artificial lighting, there is also a regular possibility of evening skiing.

The Skiliftkarussell is the largest and most cohesive ski resort in all of Sauerland. All 27 ski lifts and 34 downhill runs are connected. In recent years, investing heavily in new lifts has made Winterberg even more attractive for Winter sports enthusiasts.
The ski area is very suitable for beginners and slightly advanced skiers. There is a large amount of blue and red slopes. In addition, it is child-friendly and therefore ideal for families.
The length of blue slopes is 14 kilometers and the total length of the red slopes is 12 kilometers. For the advanced winter athletes there are also 1.5 kilometers of black slopes.
Furthermore, this ski resort is packed with ski schools and ski rental companies. In short, all facets for a successful skiing holiday are present.

The Bike Park is ideal for adrenaline seekers! There may be rides on their own initiative and courses will also be followed to participate later in one of the annual competitions.
There are a total of 11 courses that can be driven and experience is decisive.
