SIGHTS IN WINTERBERG AND SURROUNDINGS
Connected by a series of charming picturesque villages, Winterberg is located in the heart of some of the most beautiful
and most pristine land shelves in the mountains of western Germany.
Erlebniskappe
In and around Winterberg there is more to do than hiking, skiing and cross country skiing. Starting at the Erlebniskappe with its Erlebnisbrucke (beautiful view over the whole of Winterberg), various toboggan runs, playground, miniature golf and restaurant. On the other side of the busy road, you will find the Kletterwald. Climbing routes between the pine trees of 1 meter from the ground to 11 meters high! Several mountain bike trails and Zipline make the experience complete.
WINTERBERG
Winterberg is a play and hiking paradise where everything is possible. Skiing, snowboarding, sledging, snowshoe walking, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skating, cycling, walking … There are even some attractions for the non-athletic types who prefer to relax. Ideal for families or groups of friends who want to stay active. Every adventure here will be one you will remember for a lifetime.
Panorama Experience Bridge
Discover the wonderful view from the panorama experience bridge! Here you get views that correspond to bird’s eye views. The bridge is 435m long and 20m high and for the more adventurous, there are five attractions that can be entered on the way.

THE HILLEBACHSEE AND FORTFUN
The Hillebachsee is located in Niedersfeld, less than 10 minutes drive from Winterberg. In the Hillebachsee you can not only swim and water ski, but there is also a beautiful paved path around the lake. This makes cycling, rollerblading or walking very well possible. There is a path from the lake through to the centre of Winterberg, so this is an alternative route besides the motorway.
Amusement park Fortfun is open from mid-April to November and has everything to make a family outing a great success. At about 20 km from Winterberg, Fortfun offers water rides, roller coasters, various other attractions and shows.
Ski jump St. Georg
The St. Georg ski jump is the icon of Winterberg, located in the middle of the ski area.
There are regular competitions to admire and there is plenty of training by the Skiclub Winterberg.
The ski jump is special in that it can be used both in summer and winter, because ski mats are attached to the ski jump.
For a fee, the ski jump can be climbed.

9-HOLE GOLF COURSE
The 9-hole golf course is a very nice change from the other sporting possibilities. It is appreciated by guests for its hospitality and cooperation. The course is pleasant to play and at the same time challenging due to the height differences.
