When does the most snow fall?

Of course, we are often asked when there is the greatest chance of snow. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to predict this accurately. The chance that you can ski between 15 December and 15 March has increased to 90% due to the huge investments in snow cannons. As soon as the temperature and humidity allow, the snow cannons run at full speed to provide the slopes with a fresh layer of snow. The quality of this snow is so good that it can easily bridge warmer or wetter days. However, snow is never guaranteed in a low mountain range (and that is the Sauerland). Check https://www.skiliftkarussell.de/en/current/360-live-mediacam/ voor for the latest weather report.
